I love jewelry, and am willing to pay the big bucks for a coveted piece. But, luckily, I have never been duped into paying the big bucks for junk under an elite label. Some jewelry buying people have not been so fortunate. The high priced pieces of jewelry shown below are SOLD OUT at Net a Porter.

This piece, a Lanvin crystal cuff, is $1,390. It is colored glass on metal. OK, I was in the jewelry business for some time and can tell you with certainty, this piece is absolutely worthless. Literally, the accrued costs of all the pieces is less than $1. Yet many people have been duped into buying junk.

Dittos with this Lanvin necklace, glass and metal, $2,730.

This Marni stone necklace is $900. This is stone, ribbon and metal. Again, worthless. All components worth less than $1.

Erin Featherston, a new, up and coming fashion designer, creates airy frocks, fairytale designs and has lots of ruffles. Her creations are thought to be very feminine and soft. Among her credentials, Fetherston collaborated with Ellen von Unwerth on several projects and has teamed up with Target for their Go! International collection. She received honors from the UPS Delivers Fashion's Future Initiative and the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation. In 2008, she was named a finalist for the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund.

I lover her designs. They are clean and light, a perfect look for warm summer months. Only drawback, her clothes are quite expensive.

The 80's trend, acid wash jeans are back. Madonna and Michael Jackson made it fashionable in 87, but this spring we will see a modern take on the trend. We will see rock and roll ripped, skinny acid wash jeans and sleek pale pairs.

Marc Jacobs, the fashion design genius, has developed a new line of accessories, mostly under $100. This is fabulous news for everyone who absolutely loves his designs, but can't afford the super high price tags. This line is called Jacobs by Marc Jacobs, which will be his third line after Marc Jacobs, and Marc by Marc Jacobs. He also designs for Louis Vuitton.

I have to hand it to Victoria's Secret, they have some beautiful designs for this spring and summer. I have always been a fan of their comfortable cotton staples and lingerie, but the above designs (just a few of what they offer) are really great and affordable. I admit, I will be buying some of their clothes this season.

Spanx has a new clothing line called Haute Contour, and the pieces will feature their waist shrinking, bulge hiding fabric. Lace tops and skirts are now available with the Spanx built in so, if one were to ever undress from these pieces in front of someone it will not be evident that person was wearing the slimming undergarments.

This beautiful dress is on sale 40% off at Bluefly. It's a Badgley Mischka cappuccino colored silk organza strapless dress and I think it's absolutely gorgeous. If I had an upcoming event, this would be my attire. They have sizes 6, 8, and 10 left. Available at Bluefly, $650, $390.

Clearly I am a child of the eighties that I love off the shoulder tops. I think the one shoulder look is sexy cool, so obviously I love this Catherine Malandrino top. It has a crochet pattern and two ruffle layers on the scoop front neckline with ruffle sleeves, and the top tapers in at the waist. It 68% rayon, 32% nylon. Available at Net a Porter, $255

The jumpsuit is back! Personally, I'm glad, I love jumpsuits, especially the two below. They make an elegant, warm weather look.

This is the Robert Rodriguez belted satin jumper and it has a slightly disco look that I love. It's poly-satin. $374 at eLuxury.

This one is Zero + Maria Cornejo Artem Jumpsuit. It's washed polyester with plunging V neck in front and back. It has a loose, billowy fit, perfect for warm days and nights. $755 at eLuxury.
